JobDescription:
Objective
To build, audit and enhance the Computerised PMS for vessels.
The job entails:
Collate all information about the manuals.
Review manuals and identify requirements.
Identify and record details for equipment and machinery on board.
Identify all types of maintenance to be carried out on board.
Identify and delegate the task of recording the spares on board.
Collect and correlate all the information for all the items above in standard formats.
Understand and implement the database structure according to customer guidelines.
Keep track of work done and its reporting.
Strict adherence to timelines and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Should have at least MEO Class IV certification.
Sailing experience of 6 months or more will be preferred.
Good Technical knowledge about the ships machinery and application of technical drawings.
Good knowledge of computers, specially windows environment and MS Office.
Typing skills
People skills to handle small and big teams of peers and juniors.
