As part of the Bunker Team your core responsibilities will be supporting management reporting as well as providing daily oil reports and to assist in the development of the clients bunkering business through the analysis of fleet movements and customer portfolios.

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 1 year in a similar role with a relevant degree. You must have a proven data driven analytical skill set. The ideal candidate must also be familiar with data mining tools and a strong proficiency in VBA.

Job Description

1. Responsible for the department’s strategy, market intelligence, market analysis, planning and reporting activities, oil pricing support, modelling and data management.

2.Primary role is to study various initiatives and issues, in addition to covering the dynamics of the bunker oil market from supply, demand, trade flows, pricing, competitor analysis, etc. in order to make the most optimal decisions.

3. You will be required to perform the following:

a.            Assess existing pricing methodology and introduce tangible improvements.

b.            Quantify the impact of different marketing and operational tactics.

c.             Provide periodic competitor analysis and bunker / crude oil market analysis reports.

d.            Assess market implications and providing recommendations.

e.            Translate complex data into meaningful reports for different levels of Management.
