Recruit the most suitable seafarers as per the requisition established in the Quality Management System (QMS)

Ensure that newly hired staff undergo the onboarding process

Plan suitable courses for newly hired candidate as per rank requirement

Coordinate with global offices and arrange briefing/debriefing of officers with shore-

based stakeholders

Follow-up on performance feedback of newly hired seafarers within the stipulated

period of joining

Review the suitability of proposed promotions of crew as per company defined

criteria and provide feedback to relevant vessel managers

Co-ordinate with training department to provide feedback on training needs

Update and maintain crew database with regard to feedback received on seafarers’

performance from other departments

Assist the planners on a daily basis and support the team

To succeed in the job

We expect that you have relevant and minimum two years’ work experience and understanding of shipping recruitment as well as a relevant educational background. We also expect that you are excellent at building relationships within the maritime industry.

Furthermore, you have/are:

Hands-on experience in sourcing the oil and chemical tanker candidates

Excellent powers of persuasion and negotiation skills

High proficiency in verbal and written English
