Tasks
Tasks shall include but not be limited to:
Provide support to assigned vessels on all Environment and Vetting related issues
Guide and support the vessels and fleet cells during vetting preparations and Environment inspections
Ship visits for Environment inspections, as required and follow up for closure of Environment related observations
Review of environmental documentation and records of vessels
Maintain vessels vetting schedule, coordinate and arrange inspections in consultation with the fleet cells
Investigate/review incident reports & share fleetwide preventive actions
Maintain and monitor timelines for SIRE inspection replies. Submit the vetting responses in SIRE portal and follow up with Fleet cells
Maintain a database of oil major requirements related to SIRE inspections and their Minimum Safety Criteria
Conduct debriefings of seafarers involved in Environmental observations, incidents and injuries Collate Port Info from vessels and build database of port information
Assist in development and review of JSAs and PMS
Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual MRM report
Assist in preparation of environment, incidents and vetting performance presentations for use during training, briefings, induction and seminars
Assist in conducting ship-shore drills, create record along with Corrective actions Assist in selection of Safe Guards and preparation of fleet flashes and bulletins
