JobDescription:
A leading Shipping & Logistics Company (offering services of Customs Broker, Cargo/Port/Terminal Handling,
Stevedoring, shipping agency, Warehousing & Transportation) is currently seeking a candidate to head their Marketing
DivisioQ. The company annually handles about 5.00 million tones of cargo including agro commodities, bulk minerals,
coal/petcoke, fertilizers, steel, project cargoes, bulk liquid chemicals etc and has presence in most of the Major Ports of
India
The successful candidate will report directly to the Director and the position would be open at their corporate office in
Gandhidham, Gujarat, India.
Responsibilities
Overseeing the entire Marketing & Business Development matters pertaining to Stevedoring, Cargo Handling at Port,
Warehousing, Transportation & Heavy Equipment Management.
• Increasing overall sales/ revenue.
• Maximizing revenue on available infrastructure i.e. warehouses, bagging plants, cargo handling equipment
including trucks/dumpers, payloaders, forklifts, excavators, grabs, etc.
• Co-ordinating/ Laisoning with the Port Authorities.
• , Developing & Managing the marketing team and keeping them motivated.
• Compilation and presentation of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.
Requirements
• Ideally about 10-15 years' experience in Port handling or cargo handling operations.
• Master Mariners with similar experience would be given preference.
• Applicants from other field also welcome.
